The only thing I can say is : "this is not a safe blind buy".It is quite complex & mature. The notes seem consistent but after a few hours i smell caramel - chocolate - vanilla. The top & middle notes wrap up into each other very well that i don't bother to try & pin point the notes. But i do smell roses, saffron, pink pepper, definitely a type of orange blossom, maybe lime leaf, frankincense (very prominent or some sort of resin, maybe a little myrrh), some amber, oud but in moderation... I'm definitely thinking patchouli.Love & light ✨

I have had this perfume for a little over a month. I can now give you my honest opinion of this perfume by Lattafa called Opulent Red. This perfume seems to either have some people confused, upset, in love or not in love with it. I have read in the comments section of Amazon and Fragrantica that this perfume smelled terribly like gasoline or mature. However, I do see some of their points and I nearly given up on it until after a month of letting this perfume grow on me. This perfume to me is sweet, elegant and classy. It has this creaminess of Vanilla, Tonka Bean, Heliotrope, Jasmine,Tuberose, Cashmeran and Amber. I think why people are smelling gasoline is because there is a mixture of cognac (if you ever drink cognac it smells a tad bit like gasoline in it), patchouli, sandalwood and argawood. Also, I believe that this fragrance is misunderstood because some people immediately spray it on their wrist or paper and immediately 😅 smell it right away and says they smell alcohol. I am guilty of that too, with every fragrance, you will smell the initial alcohol once you spray it on and a true perfumer will tell you to wait 10 to 20 minutes after you spray it on skin before smelling yourself. Heck i still keep forgetting to follow that rule. Also, don't just spray it on paper because you will not get the benefit of it changing. The perfume needs to be on skin in order for it to meld into your chemistry to create an fragrance from within to be expelled outwards. I can only say I genuinely love ❤️ it and my husband, kids, friends and colleagues love the fragrance on me as well. Again, it depends on your body chemistry and also what notes in the fragrance that you love that melds well with your skin. I can't speak for the rest of you....... but if you like, it GREAT but if you don't like it, gift it to a friend or family member who might enjoy it or sell it online like Mecari or Ebay. You are spending less than $30 and that something I would not be upset about.......however I would be upset spending over $100 for a perfume that doesn't work for me or can't return. Lattafa Opulent Red seems like a more of a Niche brand with my all time favorite perfume Rouge Malachite. They both smell similar but different and I did mixed the 2 and I can say, they are both POWERHOUSES together ❤️. All in all I will purchase 2 more bottles as back ups.

I have the white opulent musk and love it, so when I saw this one sitting on a fellow perfume lover's dresser I thought Id better order it.Big Nope! What a waste of money. It stinks!! Letting the bottle rest didnt help. Making it through the first agonizing minutes after application for the top notes to evaporate didnt help. There is no "yummy" stage on this one and that sucks because the bottle is lovely and heavy and feels quality. The seller packaged it in a sturdy box and there was no damage to it when it arrived. The atomizer sprays nicely measured doses. If only it smelled good, but it STINKS. There are no circumstances that I would ever ever everrrrrr want to wear this. None. Its going in my donation bin and Im going to order the Opulent Oud/Opulent Black version and hope it goes better because the Opulent Musk (white) one is wonderful.Sad.Oh and if for some crazy reason after reading my review you STILL want to see for yourself, wait for the price to come down to something fair for this stinky waste. $5 seems fair. I spent $25 and Im mad at myself for wasting good money that I could have used to buy something I love and use often.

The smell is too florally for my taste, it kind of reminds you of an old lady. It lasts a long time and it’s a good price, though.
