“The quality of the oil is so-so, and at this price point I didn’t expect authentic oud. But the back of the product does list alcohol as an ingredient, if that’s a problem to some. And the sillage and longevity are below par. It has a medicinal smell to it, as expected with oud, but it’s like a synthetic benzoin smell, almost like Bengay or Vick’s Vapor Rub.”
“This one is a true disappointment. The bottle is exceptionally lovely but it’s contents are lacking, very much so. The oil is extremely thick, not smooth, fluid or consistent in body. When applied to skin it is very thick, sticky and difficult to spread evenly even in a very small area. It’s initial fragrance is good although prepare yourself for it to be quite LOUD. Regrettably it loses everything within ten minutes and becomes a very dismal skin scent. The only way you can tell it’s there is by holding your nose right on it. After thirty to forty minutes maximum you have nothing, it’s longevity is near zero in reality. It’ projection sillage, another disappointment, forget it. All in all, it’s appearence is great yet it’s slipped into the waste bin as far as it’s true depth and wholesomeness of fragrance. I strongly recommend everyone bypass this one, save your money.”
“I got one as a present before. It smells absolutely heavenly! The consistency is really thick FYI but it acts a little like a moisturiser. I have never thought anything smells quite as good and it lasts ages!”
