“I want to start off by saying that those complaining about longevity are most likely nose blind and can't smell it themselves after a couple of hours.While taking a trip across the entire United States, I stopped at a very famous mall in Las Vegas, where I had the opportunity of visiting a Creed store. I was able to sample Aventus and immediately fell in love with the scent. After reading tons of reviews, I finally made the choice of purchasing this imitation.My order was a black sprayer, so my review is based on that one.The package came in via UPS and was packaged and sealed very well.After opening, I immediately had to try it. And.... I hated it. It smelled like lemon pledge. Absolutely nothing like Creed Aventus! I was determined that I was going to send it back and give a terrible review. However.... things started changing after about 30 minutes to an hour later. The smell began to transform. It started to smell more and more like Aventus. After about an hour and a half, there is no way that I could tell the difference between the two. So, that night, I was getting ready to go out and meet with some friends. Had my outfit on and everything was set. Did my usual, one spray behind each ear, one on the back of the neck, and one on the collar. ....it was way too much. This cologne doesn't take much and I have found that my sweet spot is one spray behind each ear, and if I am going to be primarily outdoors and not in a vehicle with someone, a spray on my collar as well. And trust me when I say that, guys, your lady friend will smell you all night long, and a little bit will go a long way.A couple of days ago I was with some of my other friends and one of their girlfriends noticed the smell and complimented it. I told her that it was an imitation of Creed Aventus and that at first it smells like lemon pledge, then transforms into what she was smelling. ....She didn't believe me. Needless to say, she is getting her boyfriend the same cologne as a gift.My niece came down from a state away and noticed my cologne right away. I later caught her spraying on 4 sprays. She immediately regretted using so much.You can't go wrong with this compliment magnet. Do yourself a favor and make the purchase.”
