“Very good Aventus clone. Suggest you use it for colder periods of the year as scent itself is very strong and not everyone can tolerate it during hot day. Dont overspay it. If you feel the opening is harsh, just few sprays on the back and few sprays of anything “fruty†in front. 10 min and all top notes are gone anyway :)”

I am very, very happy with my purchase.I've heard a lot of reviews mentioning the opening and how it is quite strong. Lemony, almost akin to Pledge cleaner or Pinesol. While I don't get those notes, I do empathize with the opening being quite harsh. But after five or ten minutes, it settles to a nice, smoky and wonderfully pleasant scent. I thought the constant boast of compliments on these reviews was somewhat fake. Perhaps it was people *wanting* compliments, and so saying they received them. Maybe it was just insecure people who bought this to be complimented. All of that aside, I am surprised to say that it is highly likely that all of these reviews accurate. You really do, almost immediately get compliments. I have gotten several compliments since I got this 3 days ago. My girl loves it and immediately asked me "Did you get a new soap or something? You smell so good."It's not overly powerful and the sillage and life is quite good. I read a great piece of advice that"Cologne should be discovered, not announced." Don't overdo it too much with this and you're in great shape.This smoky, light and slightly sweet aroma will be a perfect addition to your shelf. “This item was a blind buy and it definitely lived up to the hype I'm sold on armaf. Its going on 4 days since i sprayed it on a sample strip of paper and i can still smell it on the paper. Im even catching faint wiffs of it in the air if i breath in the direction of the sample strip.”
