“If you're getting this as a close substitute for Creed Aventus let me tell you: it's not it! I used Aventus for 5 years and this is not like it. ALTHOUGH, it's a good perfume on its own merit. And I even kinda like it. It just doesn't have Aventus's WOW effect.”
“Where can I find a travel sized version? I totally love this cologne. My sister recommended that I get it for my husband, so I purchased it for him. To be honest, I cannot stop sniffing him and his shirts. The scent is so enticing and romantic. It is neither strong nor mild, just in between and great. I wasn't sure if I would like this cologne because I really loved Dior Sauvage on my hubby. I love this cologne just as much as the Dior. They do not smell the same, but they work well on him.”
“Initial spray will smell like straight lemon and sandalwood and you will start to question your purchase. Then it slowly starts to change and in 30 minutes you are now rocking Aventus. Don’t know how it does it, but it does, smell is really close (95%).Head to head you can’t really compare. I will never get the reactions that I received the couple of times I got to wear the real thing (something in Aventus makes people physically and chemically react, Armaf just smells good). But for $300 less and the amount of compliments I got anyway, worth it. Once I start making good money I’ll get the real thing, for now this will do.My recommendations for other colognes that get a lot of compliments and don’t break the bank. Jimmy Choo Man, Armani Code and YSL L’Homme (the regular one not intense)”
