“It is not the most complex perfume but it served its purpose... I wanted a leathery scent that would get compliments like the cheapo $5 Royal Stallion from 2019 with better quality but not the price tag of Tom Ford and the silage of Guerlain EDP.Many say the fragrance is industrial and overly sweet. I have smelled industrial leather scents (Royal Stallion once sold at Five and Below Stores in a year where there were few leather scents) and this just does not have a fake smell. You can pick out some of the notes such as labdanum, oud, Jasimine and saffron which make up the accord. Perhaps one or two of those are artificial but they are blended well. Discernable layers are there. The raspberry is light.I expect to get many compliments from the EDP. It is certainly better than most main stream high end colognes readily available at your local Sephora or Ulta.”
“Caution to anyone thinking about buying this: you will NOT receive the same presentation as seen in most of these reviews. It is no longer a wooden box, it is a hard carboard with fake wood stickers. The bottle does not fit snuggly and will be scratched and damaged during shipping, and the cap is extremely loose. I ordered from an official distributor so I know I received a genuine product. As for the scent... i dont know what the old batches were like, but this is the weakest fragrence in my collection. Very weak. Weaker than Starwalker. Maybe the performance will improve with time like some other Middle Eastern fragrences, but as it stands it basically just smells like lightly scented water.None of this is to say that the reviewers are misleading you--they are not. I genuinely beleive they received a much better product than i did, then after all the big review videos were posted Rasasi pulled a bait-n-switch.This is my first purchase from Rasasi and will be my last. I really feel like i was deceived and cheated by the company. This was my worst fragrence experience.”
