“سبحان اللهA truly breathtaking and gorgeous perfume oil! This perfume oil starts off with a dominant note of dense, pink and heavy rose. This is the first impression I get. As it develops you smell a very faint yet noticeable oud note. The oud used here is very mild. This is greenish and minty oud, reminded me of Oud Al’Fawah by the house of ASAQ. As the perfume starts to dry down, you feel a tussle going on between the sweet rose note and the minty, somewhat woody oud note. At times rose seems to overpower and at other times neither seems to win this battle. I detect other notes as well but can’t really say which ones. Rose seems to be the overarching theme here, hence the name T’aif is quite apt. It smells wonderful though throughout the entire time it stays on you which is around 5 to 7 hours.Totally amazing and authentic oriental and Middle Eastern perfume oil. This is a loud fragrance so one drop goes a long way. I couldn’t be happier. Another gem from the house of Rasasi. Now let’s move onto the flacon which is a piece of art and a collector’s item. This hand crafted, faceted and spectacular glass flacon is out of this world. Has the word ‘T’aif’ spelled in Arabic on one side and gold filigree on the other. Just awesome! I’m spellbound as to which one’s better, the flacon or the perfume it contains? If you’re into dense Middle Eastern blends and ootoor with rose as the prominent note then go ahead and buy this precious perfume.”
