“Al Ayam is what I would consider a fairly common Arabic/Middle Eastern fragrance. It’s very inexpensive and I was surprised by the quality of the scent itself. I’m not sure if it’s an edp but the longevity of it is definitely 12+ hours. After all is said and done, Al Ayam is essentially a soapy, clean smelling, strong floral fragrance.The initial smell is very strong as you are introduced to a type of watery green mix with a floral background. I find that it’s mostly linear Though there may be some subtle development with the wood notes, I’m guessing that they’re there just to add longevity? The basic scent is, as I said, a mix that smells like a mix of soap and flowers. The rose and jasmine give it a kind of backbone.Anyway, that’s about it. It’s fairly simple and mostly rather linear, after the initial die down of the citrus and water notes. Though I’d say this is easily worth the price, I’d also say this isn’t exactly *my* type of fragrance, but it is pretty unisex. I’ll likely finish off the rest of the bottle.”
