“Victoria Secret stopped making Amber Romance perfume (they just make the body spray and some moisturizers,etc now). This isn't the exact same thing but in some ways it smells much more refined.I love the complexity of this and how it changes through the day. Left my office for a couple minutes on one of my first days wearing it, and was surprised upon my return to find it smelling pleasant (it's typically musty) before realizing it was me that smelled nice.I've always wanted to have a perfume scent that wasn't over powering but would linger a bit (I don't know how other women do that but I'm always jealous) and maybe this is it?It's warm but floral with a touch of sweetness. Sweetness in a perfume can make me gag so that's a big deciding factor for me.I'm definitely buying again, if I ever run out. Also considering trying some of the other scents and gifting them if I'm not impressed. The bottle alone is a novelty.”

“I had high hopes for this...I really wanted to like it. So, here goes: If like me, you are looking for something woody: this ain't it, friend. It smells like one thing - powder. And only powder. Not only that it is S T R O N G. Like even a full drop will make you sick. This is a perfume oil with a dip stick essentially. So, you can dip it, wipe of ALL excess and LIGHTLY dab once and I mean ONCE & maybe that is passable. I accidentally did this twice & developed an intense migraine with an aura- the whole 9 yards. I don't hate powder but had I been aware I wouldn't have spent $36-$40 on it bc I also don't "love" it. I think from the reviews of this brand many of the fragrances are not as woody or musky as the description would imply.”
