“The bottle is gorgeous. I wish I could say the perfum was as elegant. Unfortunately, I think it smells like soap. It has tremendous staying power but in this case I’m not sure that was positive.”
“As a self-touted “Expert-level Perfume Coneseuir”, -let me first announce that I absolutely LOVE the Hayfa & Jamila scents I ordered from Swiss Arabia; but.... this Layali.... I just don’t understand it! The beautiful bottle is deceiving; it may be that I got an expired or errored batch of perfume oil, but the bottle of Layali I received smells VERY SHARPLY like soured herbs (cumin!! Tons and tons of CUMIN!!!), and days old feline urine. I am so sad I spent so much money on this, and yet I cannot bring myself to even try it experimentally to see if it might mesh with my body chemistry after a half hour. It’s a “no” for me. I wish I could kindly trade my Layali with an order of an additional bottle of the Jamila”
