“TikTok brought me here…of course. I have the Oil Perfumery’s impression of Oud Bouquet, so I had a loose idea of what to expect. The longevity was underwhelming considering the hype. I did not smell the scent before opening the box like others have mentioned. Also, unless I went nose blind this one didn’t have beast mode projection like I expected.Anyways, honey, the initial spray on my skin smells like hot plastic. So unpleasant. After the dry down the fragrance becomes an enjoyable wear that reminds me of melted vanilla ice cream and roses(on my skin). It’s warm, sweet, and slightly sharp. I’m not in love with this one but I like it. The way this fragrance develops is impressive because that damn opening is awful.”
“SHAGHAF OUD:Unfortunately my bottle was a little dented on a few sides and I received the English-font version, but you don’t have an option to choose.Fragrantica & Reddit brought me here with tantalizing promises of gourmand and an oud for beginners. Longevity and beast-mode silliage that had notes of sweets intrigued me for MONTHS.At first spray, the scent punches you in the face with a stingy, cold, medicinal and petrol-like layer. After it mellows, the notes mute down to a warm and powdery praline. After a shower, I sprayed the scent twice total on my hair, clothes, and wrists. On skin, the scent lasted a couple of hours or I went nose-blind, however after waking the next morning I could smell it gently wafting around on my hair and clothing.Lots of reviews on websites and YouTube praise this scent and gave me lots of imagined scenarios of what type of confident, luxurious person wears this, but to put it simply, it smells like strong powdery, warm praline with a hint of petrol. Maybe the powder is a smokey oud.”
“Sexy scent. I get stopped in public all the time with people asking me what I’m wearing. Get use to it. It last long as well. I application is efficient. And beware of bees. They will follow you like crazy it’s scary.”
