I had read about Shagaf Oud’s resemblance to my beloved Oud Bouquet but have never found anything that can come close to the complexity and projection of the Lancôme masterpiece. Until now.This perfume is GORGEOUS. It is delicious. Bright Saffron top note with a black jammy rose and spiced praline, chocolate dry down that is downright addictive. There is a blast alcohol that lasts 5 seconds for me before revealing the saffron and chocolate dipped rose underneath. At this price, I can handle it. It is complex and the sillage and longevity stands toe to toe with some of the most expensive niche fragrances I own.This is a sister to Oud Bouquet - some noses may not be able to tell the difference. I own both and since it’s my favorite perfume ever, I’m happy to own both.I’m struggling to stop myself from buying back up bottles of this. You know the dee fear of having something you adore be discontinued?! That’s me. Right now.This was shipped very fast and was packed beautifully to protect this delightful juice.
