“I have recently dived into Arabic scents, in particular oud scents after the recommendation of a friend.Shaghaf Oud Aswad by Swiss Arabian was a perfect blind buy. The smell at first to me smells synthetic, herbal almost medicinal but the dry down is where the magic happens.It is difficult explain the frag and I would say that it is slightly floral, slightly sweet with a earthy, woody smell of patchouli, sandalwood and oud, almost like the smell of a temple.The notes on Swiss Arabian are top notes of saffron, thyme and rose with middle notes of coriander, cumin, rose, Jasmin, patchouli, oud and base notes of musk, sandalwood, leather, oud, amber and vanilla.It's described as a unisex scent and defiantly think this would work on a man as well as it does on myself, as a women.I am so pleased with this purchase and am totally in love with the scent and cannot stop wearing it. The longevity is 10 hours plus and it is a powerful scent, with a few sprays being more than enough for me.Highly recommend this, great value for money. Beautiful bottle and box. Well worth the price point.”

“This is the worst smelling perfume I’ve ever purchased. I bought it because it had good reviews and I wanted to try a new scent for fall/winter season since I always wear the same perfume. This smells like a 90 year old that put on way too much perfume. I’m not sure how anyone under the age of 50 enjoys the smell of this perfume without getting a headache.”
