“I have used oils and ouds from the Middle East for years. When my main supplier closed his business, I was left hanging with no known replacement. Finding Zahra, one of the Swiss Arabian brands, was music to my ears. The scent was not only fragrant; it was long-lasting, only using a small amount each day. And the packaging is very attractive, so much so that I will consider giving this fragrance away as a holiday gift item. I have since purchased the Swiss Arabian sample pack so that I can learn more about other fragrances the company offers.”
“I was not impressed. I didn’t pick up any fruity notes. It was soft. Almost powdery but not like Johnson&Johnson. The scent didn’t hold longer than an hour. (If that long). I am 32 and I found this fragrance to be very mature, so I gave it to my mom instead of returning it. She’s in her 60’s. The oil Al Ghadeer is much better in my opinion. It can be worn everyday day as a signature scent for someone who is confident and engaging or just as a date night fragrance. It’s not overwhelming but you will definitely notice it!”
“The scent was layered with woods, cinnamon and a mysterious element. I was very pleased with the scent. Only draw back was it got leaked in the package and the blue accent on the top came in detached. I suppose it was due to a rough handling during the delivery process. What I received was approximately 60% of the original amount. Since the scent was wonderful and memorable, I would order again.”
“I have been on a Swiss Arabian kick lately- especially when it comes to perfumes from the Middle East.I previously purchased Jamilah on a blind buy, and it was fantastic! So I was encouraged to try Zahra, and for me, it was a disappointment. On the nose it is very reminiscent of potpourri. It reminds me of that popular Glade air freshner with the purple cap. It is very strong and sweet when initially applied and then it dries down to a more floral bouquet. This is not bad, if that is what you are looking for, but for me, it will not work.I highly recommend the scent Jamilah, which can also be purchased through Amazon. At least that one will not disappoint.”
