“Saying this perfume is complex is totally an understatement. It starts out sharp and strong right out of the bottle but as it starts to heat and react to your body it takes on a whole new scent of something more light and woodsy almost spicy. It's such a rich perfume that changes with every person that wears it. It smelled so different on me than it did a few different friends of mine but the scent was always unique and smelled amazing. It's such a different scent but something that always catches people's attention when I wear it. It's quickly become a favorite of mine.”

“I am shocked to say that I absolutely have fallen in love with this perfume. I was really afraid it was going to be super dense and far too heavy, and I'll be honest - the initial scent is quite strong. There's a muskiness and earthiness to it that's very rich and deep; it's velvety and potent, but with an unexpected brightness from a note of citrus on the top. This combo is unusual and at first it struck me as unpleasant, but I quickly realized that if I was just being truthful, it was merely a totally unfamiliar scent pairing. It really is quite nice - but it quickly gives way to its bottom note, which is a warmer, spicier tone that is still somehow heavy, but not in an unpleasant way. This has a decidedly rosy hint to it, but it's richer, and I totally understand the name "Black Rose." It is quite on point.Despite being a heavier, more complex combination of notes and worlds away from my usual choice of bright, floral rose scents, this Black Rose fragrance is something I find myself reaching for way more than I expected. I absolutely love the depth of scents, how quickly one note gives way to the other, and the mellow and subtle finish of the final fragrance. I find a simple rose spray is delightful when spritzed on several hours after this perfume has been allowed to age on the skin, as the top and middle notes begin to dissipate, and it's a really cool way to keep people guessing about how/why you smell so delightfully different all night long. Highly, highly recommend this fragrance. Not only is the scent positively wonderful, the presentation, packaging, and overall quality of the product in general is really quite nice as well. “Black Rose's Parfum comes in a nice sturdy box and then inside is a felt bag. The perfume bottle is large and heavy with a nice feel.The perfume itself has a woodsy, floral, musk scent. It's strong and lasts a long time. One pump of perfume was enough for me. As a man I felt it was a little too floral smelling, but your mileage will vary.All in all... okay, nothing special.”
“I am very picky about the perfumes I wear. They can't be too sweet or too overpowering and they have to last all day. I've never experienced a fragrance like this one though. It was love at first sniff, as soon as I opened the box. It's unique, woody, musky, not flowery, and it lasts, evolving throughout the day, softening and mellowing into an almost peppery fruity base. It isn't too feminine or too masculine, but instead is a beautiful blend of the two, yin and yang, male and female, one swirling around the other in a timeless embrace. It's a fragrance that can be shared without leaving either person worried that they'll smell the same because it merges with each person's chemistry to become unique though similar.It would make an unforgettable and impressive gift. It arrived in a gorgeous sturdy and eye-catching box. When I opened it there was a fancy bag with a drawstring with decorative charms. It looks expensive and tasteful, just like it smells.
