I bought the Exo Terra Light Unit for 2 x 20 watt uv lights. When I put 2 15 watt bulbs in it didn't work. When I contacted customer services they said I'd put too much wattage through the unit. My electrician came round to look and I hadn't - if the unit can take 2 x 30 watts it should be able to take 2 x 15 watts. I feel like I've been ripped off.

I was very chuffed with the cost of my order considering the Exo terra was a very good price, and others I've seen are only ever more than the price of this websites one. This is the first time I've ever ordered from here I think and if I ever want an Exo terra again and they're this price, I will shop again just for that however nothing else. The packaging could do with a lot of improvement. For starters the Exo terra wasn't wrapped like I thought it would be, I've seen my lightbulbs that are only a couple quid wrapped a lot better than this was and this was quite expensive compared to a lightbulb. The damp dirt of the plants I brought had spilled all over the items and made the cardboard damp and everything dirty, that could at least have had something round it to stop dirt spilling out. Also the plants I brought were in poor condition, I understand they wouldn't be great but this was just terrible. I barely had touched a leaf on my plant and it fell off, then another and another until most had fallen off. Umbrella plant I think it was? I can't remember the name but I think it was an umbrella plant, which is what I've binned because it was virtually useless. Haven't bothered taking pictures because I just can't be bothered to deal with sorting it out it wasn't that expensive and I'll learn my lesson not to buy pants from here again.
