“Ok so it appears there is a severe shortage of plug and play hygrostats on the market. In the end I went for this one as it seemed like a good deal, no English reviews videos to watch though so I was winging it a bit. It’s a tidy unit that sits well with my other controllers. The menus make absolutely NO sense unless you have the book to hand, so all I’m saying is don’t lose the book! Once set up it works well but not as I expected, I was hoping it would work like a thermostat and click the fogger on as and when humidity dropped below my set values. Instead it comes on 4 times in 24hr period that you set, whilst this seems ok it creates huge swings in humidity which is not ideal in my opinion. There is another setting where you can set it to work between X-Y times but when I tried this nothing happened and you cannot set the humidity value when doing this. I’ve given this product 3 stars on the basis it’s not quite what I was after, unless I’ve set it up wrong but then in that case the instructions are not clear enough. Great service from IR again”
