How would you rate Nested Naturals out of 5 stars?

“Ok, I was curious about this product and figured a little more green in my diet couldn’t hurt. While it does smell a bit fishy there is no taste or after taste. This is my first time ordering this product and I am pleased with the overall product.”

“There is nothing in the article you cite (citation 5) about Chlorella being a good source of B12. In fact, vitamin B12 is not even mentioned in the article. I have researched this a while back now, and at that time, there was no one who had determined whether the B12 in chlorella was active or not. Did you cite the wrong article? I did not read all of the ones you cite.”

Hi there Alan, thanks for your review on Chlorella and B12. I did a little digging on B12 in Chlorella and it does appear that for organically grown sources of Chlorella (which we use in our Super Algae) there appears to be research to suggest that it contains B12 which is bioavailable. The following link discusses the content of B12 versus B12 analogs in various forms of Chlorella (https://www.b12-vitamin.com/algae/). There have also been additional studies which have suggested that Chorella can provide a bioavailable source of B12 for those following a vegan or vegetarian diet (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/26485478/). That being said, we will continue our research and look into potentially adjusting the content to better fit with the literature.
