“The Good! The place is beautiful. Well decorated and stocked with everything that you would need, other than groceries. All of the appliances worked, and there was even a gas grill out on the patio. The entrance off of the main road was manned with security 24/7, and there was a private gate to the entrance of the property. The BAD!!!!! If you want peace and quiet and time without people around, do not stay here. What anyone fails to mention is there is an "onsite" person that lives directly below La Perla Classic, in an apartment that isn't shown on any pictures of the place, and they come and go as they please. They claim that it is a maintenance person, however, they are there 24/7, and we felt like we were being "watched" by this person to see if we were damaging anything. There were also people coming and going daily, without any prior notice to us, such as gardeners, pool people, and the like. The entire back and one side of this place is glass, with the rear having the entire wall that will open to the rear patio. When you wake up in the moring, and walk from the bedroom with a glass wall and doorway into the main part of the house, and there are 2 people that you do not know on your back patio, is a little unnerving to say the least. This happend more than once in the week we were there. There is maid service every day whether you want it or not. We requested no maid service several times, but she showed up every day. We were then sent several snarky text messages from the property manager about running the a/c with the rear doors open. Obviously someone was watching our movement. We could not figure out how people were able to get onto the property without the gate remote, then we found a door on the exterior wall of the property that was unlocked the entire time we were there, so anyone can come and go as they please. The property manager cared more about getting the landscaping and pool taken care of more so than the guests that paid several thousand dollars to stay in a "PRIVATE VILLA". It was not private by any means, and although we would reccommend isle blue, if you are going to stay in ST Martin and want privacy and quiet, pick another villa for the same money! VERY DISSAPOINTED WITH THE LACK OF PRIVACY!”
