I can not say enough positive things about our recent experience with isle blue !!! My husband and I recently stayed in The Villa called Sardinia in Turks and Caicos for our honeymoon. We were there for 10 days, and every single thing was beyond perfect! Being two gay men, as much as the world has made such positive strides and shows much support for the LGBT community, traveling is always something that makes you aware that not everyone is so kind. With that being said we really wanted to relax and feel comfortable enjoying our honeymoon in private. I found isle blue’s site on google when looking for hotels for our honeymoon about a year ago. Around that time covid was even more of a factor to consider while planning a wedding let alone travel . I took out the recommended travel insurance upon booking which I strongly agree is a smart decision. I was nervous initially booking because there weren’t the thousands of reviews that some of the popular hotels have . I read that some of the previous reviews said that isle blue would require half the fee up front and the second half 2 months before you’re trip . I was told a concierge would reach out to me a month before our trip to help with further accommodations, and they did exactly that! Stephanie our concierge was AMAZING!!!!! I told her in our first email exchange that it was our honeymoon , and she told me she would make everything absolutely perfect ! She provided us with all information we could possibly need , from private chefs , to rental cars , spa services and excursions. She also connected us with a local gourmet market that had a pre stock available for your villa if you don’t want to stop at the store on your way from the airport. We ended up stoping at the store ourselves because it seems more cost effective. Our villa was on Taylor Bay , which is opposite grace bay , where all the hotels and most restaurants are. It was only a 20 minute drive from Taylor bay to grace bay and if you have a rental car , and depending on where you’re from don’t mind driving on the opposite side of the street that you’re used to , it’s not a big deal at all. We were very happy to be on the more residential part of the island with less people. Our villa was absolutely stunning . It had direct beach access , it’s own private pool , and looked exactly like the pictures on isle blues website. To be honest, it was even more impressive in person . Julian the Villa Manager texted us the morning of Our flight to touch base and was waiting for us at our villa to show us around and inform us of anything we needed to know . He was also available by text or call the entirety of our stay if we needed anything , and would respond with in a minute! Stephanie was also still available if we needed her to adjust any reservations. She also hooked us up with chef Jose . He and anyone he brought with him as su chef were so professional and incredibly accommodating and talented!! We had two separate dinners prepared by him and one breakfast , and they were delicious!!!! It was worth every penny! The other days we cooked for ourselves or went to a local restaurant La Brisas . It was a 2 minute drive and worked for lunch and dinner . Other nights we ventured to Grace Bay , but for the most part just enjoyed our beautiful setting at the villa . The pool has beautiful lights at night along with the outdoor landscaping and the view of Taylor bay with the moonlight was incredible !!!! The villa is also set securely with two others behind gates at the beginning of the property. Each villa then also has its own security system . I accidentally set ours off and the security promptly called to make sure all was ok. We felt very safe ! The villa also had a state of the art washer and dryer and plenty of extra towels and bedding ! I know this is a very long review but I just wanted to list all the things that I was looking for when I was booking . Our honeymoon was the best trip of my life and exceeded all of our expectations ! We will absolutely be going back there and using Isle Blue for our future travel ! This is not an add lol !

As a Jamaican-rooted Black family, our recent stay at Makana Villa, a property owned by the Graham family, known for their successful business, Active Home Centre in Jamaica, was an experience that left us deeply troubled. While the villa’s beauty and the dedicated local staff were undeniable highlights, the overall service fell dramatically short of the luxury standard, especially given the daily rate of around $3,500. Our stay was marred by a significant power outage on a particularly hot day, when temperatures soared above 90 degrees Fahrenheit. The failure of both the electricity and the backup generator left us without air conditioning, electricity, or running water for nearly 12 hours. The management’s response, a mere $500 food voucher, seemed meager in the face of such discomfort and we told them that it was insufficient. Furthermore, a consistently malfunctioning air conditioner, which we had reported multiple times, ultimately failed on our last night. Management's suggestion that we sleep on the couch in the living room, rather than in the room we had paid for, was not only a disappointing solution but also a stark reminder of the power dynamics at play. The undercurrent of our experience at the villa, owned by the affluent and white Graham family, was one of a deeply unsettling juxtaposition. The entire home staff, responsible for attending to our needs, were Black Jamaicans, while the property manager, with decision-making authority, was white. This seemingly deliberate choice by the Grahams felt like an embodiment of implicit racism, perpetuating a power hierarchy based on race. Furthermore, the management's lack of empathy, inadequate reparations for the inconveniences we faced, dismissive attitude towards our concerns, and the underlying racial dynamics present in the staff composition left us feeling not only disappointed but also disrespected and disillusioned. The experience forced us to question the Grahams' commitment to inclusivity and cultural sensitivity, particularly within a predominantly Black nation like Jamaica. In conclusion, while Makana Villa’s setting is undeniably enchanting, potential guests should be aware of the potential for such experiences. Despite the substantial investment for such a vacation, the disconnect between the cost and the level of service, cultural sensitivity, and personal compassion was profoundly disheartening. We urge the Grahams to address the racial undertones present in their business practices and ensure that all guests, regardless of their background, receive the level of respect and service they deserve.

We LOVED our experience with Isle Blue! I love how integrated their site was so everything from catering to booking massages and rental cars...everything was right there to look at instead of having to do it myself across multiple websites and reservations. We will definitely be using Isle Blue again for our travel in the Caribbean.

There was several breaks in communication from Isle Blue and the villa: Instead of food being selected for just the arrival dinner and the next day; the staff needs the first 3 days selected upfront. Allergies were also a miss. Staff didn’t have allergy list for food. Amex is not accepted at the house — I wish this was communicated prior, also expectations to bring cash for a tip for the staff. The wording in the site of the 23% service fee was made to believe that went to the staff if we chose to use the chef services. That is not the case.

We enjoyed Sunrise Villa for a two-week stay once again and it hit all the marks. The villa is perfect and the view even more so. Maurice our concierge was very helpful in arranging messages, transportation, and reservations. Josephine kept things tidy as always. We indeed will be back, it truly is paradise.

The staff was very friendly and anything we needed, they did their best to supply. That is the only reason this is 2 stars and not 1. The communication between Isle Blue and the Villa needs improvement. When we arrived, the villa was under the impression we didn’t need food services everyday and they only have enough food for the first night and breakfast the next morning (that’s what we preselected). We had to scramble to set up lunch and the next dinner. Isle Blue needs to start communicating with the paying guest 48 hours of meals, not just the first night. This caused a massive hiccup for 10 people. Also, allergies were not relayed making the first night tough for two people on our trip. Another odd encounter, Isle Blue provides the pickup car from the airport but not the return car back on departure. That’s ok, but the company they use for arrival, isn’t the same company we pay for on departure. This also caused hiccups throughout the week. The bathrooms need maintenance as parts and pieces in the showers have been neglected. Tile is missing on the pools. Ants all over the main level — when you see the location it’s breathtaking and truly gorgeous. I just hope Isle Blue gets it together and corrects some of these hiccups. We had some rat issues. They were called opossums however in North Carolina, we call them rats. Running all over at night, dining room, outside by the pool etc. I also agree with the previous review feedback regarding towels and plumbing issues. The towels were not great - would have expected nice large fluffy ones in a property of this calibre (including the pool towels). The plumbing was also problematic.

Best vacation ever. Staff was fantastic and Denise the chef was great she never had a bad meal. We plan to do this trip again in 2025. Thanks again Fantastic property 😀

Perfect setup for 3 couples. Outstanding service from Chris upon arrival. Zero issues while staying in 505. You cannot beat the view either! We will be returning to Barbados in the future and most likely to Sapphire Beach.

My wife and I experienced an epic visit to the island of Turks and Caicos, and Isle Blue served us very well in identifying a location that was perfect for us, aided in the navigation of travel to and from the island, and offered knowledgeable suggestions as to what to do and where to visit while there. We found the perfect little spot that was highly suitable. The photos and description of this location were near identical to the listing (unfortunately we found this to be rare during our search). I also found Isle Blue and its representatives to be responsive and timely throughout this process. There were a couple of miscues that bothered me a bit. Some fees arose that were not included in the initial language and were not disclosed until the booking process. Fees that to my feeling should be absorbed by the property owners, even if folded in to the cost. Transparency would have been appreciated regarding these fees, in my opinion, but this did not in any way negate the overall experience as being positive.

Our villa in Barbados was amazing, along with our cook and housekeeper. However, our local concierge - Amara (from BlueSky), did not meet expectations. To begin with, she did not email us instructions for entering the property so we arrived at our villa we spent about 30 minutes standing outside of the property trying to contact her to get the code to the lockbox. The next day she did not visit the property to introduce herself and to orient us to the property. We found out on the second to last day of our trip that there were amenities in Westmoreland that we could access but we needed to check in at guest services. But this information wasn't written anywhere and we felt like Amara should have informed us. The property was great but the local concierge was disappointing.

Isle Blue like always was amazing! The villa was BEAUTIFUL, and the staff was kind and helpful. The villa manager was literally the best and made sure that everything went smoothly and all our needs were met. It's going to be hard going back to regular vacationing after experiencing this level of service and care. The chef was phenomenal; every meal was just crazy delicious. I can't wait to book again.

Our vacation was perfect! Isle Blue staff: Stephanie, Sarah and Robb answered all our questions and were there for us every step of the way. Villa Capri on Sopadilla Bay, TCI was so beautiful with its private pool and beach. The Villa itself included everything we could have needed including towels, laundry detergent coffee even sunscreen and books! We were impressed with the full kitchen, living area and upstairs bedroom with balcony overlooking the Bay, stand alone tub and walk in shower. We spent most of our time in the water. We snorkelled and saw turtles and tropical fish near the pier. The beach was quiet with vendors only a short walk away, selling drinks and jetskis. We loved this little piece of paradise and would go back in a heartbeat! Thank you for making our 25th anniversary a memory of a lifetime!

We loved our stay at Beach Cake villa in Turks and Caicos. The villa was beautiful and the views were fantastic! We spent our days relaxing by the pool or cooling off in the pool. We also took walks on the beach and enjoyed evenings at some of our favorite restaurants. We cannot wait to come back.
