“Family and friends from near and far traveled to Villa Alila to celebrate a big birthday. The whole group quickly fell in love with the home , Holetown, and the incredible team at Alila. The property is stunning. Immaculate. Lucious gardens and local wildlife is always close by (green monkeys, green heron, mourning dove, hummingbird& yes a bat at dusk & don’t forget the daily Koi fish feeding ). The staff of Patrick, Jo, Jalencia and Kaelai were what really made our time at Alila so special. Attentive. Caring. Welcoming. Helpful. We learned so much about the island , the people, its agriculture, foods and traditions from the team. Our stay was super special and will long be a top the list of best vacations ever.”

“Wonderful stay at Villa Alila in Jan '24. It's extremely comfortable and beautifully designed in a Balanese style. The staff are amazing, led by Cheryl and Jo, with nothing too much trouble. Cheryl's cooking is fantastic with a huge repetoire of local dishes on offer. Her cooked breakfasts are legendary! We had a 3 month old with us and the layout of the bedrooms worked a treat, with two groundfloor rooms with a shaded terrace just a few steps away from the pool. Easy access to Holetown, the nicest town on the island in my view, with losts of great restaurants, bars, shopping etc. Can highly recommend Villa Alila.”

“The house was great. I feel like there should have been a full length mirror is all of the bedrooms. The pillows could have been of better quality. Extra towels and wash cloths could have been provided in the rooms, and extra rolls of toilet paper. A garbage pail in the bedroom as well would have also been nice to have. Even with those amenities missing the stay was amazing. Home was beautiful.”
