“The house was nice but did not live up to the photos. The outdoor furniture in particular was disappointing. We were unable to eat at the outdoor table as it is so warped and the recliners by the pool are fixed in one position, again due exposure to the elements. The sun umbrellas are of poor quality and are easily damaged by strong gusts of wind. The photo of the pool area shows more sun shade than was in place. In my view, this area needs attention. Also, the garden could do with some more interesting planting. The grass is cut and that is more or less it. Inside, the dining table could not seat 12 people comfortably. What was not explained was the poor condition of the access to the house, the dreadful gate (unnecessarily narrow) and rough parking area. It is obvious that previous tenants have had scrapes with their cars as the gate pillars are damaged and there are skid marks off the parking area down the grass. We had to meet the housekeeper in town as the house would not have been easy to find. The house keeper was very friendly and we were very happy with her help.”
