“We stayed here for 10 days in November 2019. The entire experience was nothing short of amazing. Our contact, Sally was wonderful- always there when we had questions or concerns. Our son was stung by a stonefish and she met my husband and son at the clinic (she was half hour away) and stayed with them the entire time and brought them home. June - I don’t want to just call her our cook because she was so much more than that to our family, she has some great connections and kept the few questionable people away and not only is she an incredible cook but boy does she make a mean rum punch!! All the other staff that were there on a daily basis were great as well - they were all very friendly and respectful. Would definitely stay here again. The Italian restaurant down the beach was great as well- definitely recommend sitting at the bar and having a drink and conversations with the owner and other staff. Go fishing, swim with the turtles, visit the rum plantation and take the yellow bus! June, hope you’re making some beer butt chicken now that we’ve shared this “classic” Recipe with you!
