The villa was too expensive for what it was. It had no charm, the living room was small and awkward shape, the furniture all looked like it was from Ikea. Even tho we had maid service, they did not replace the towels once nor the toilet paper, we actually ran out of toilet paper on the last day and had to make a run to the grocery store. There was not enough lounge chairs for each person in the house and the ping pong table needed to be replaced. There were missing screens in the windows and had lots of mosquitoes in our bedroom. Overall Ricardo is not a luxury villa as it doesn't have the views, the charm, the furniture, or the art to call it self that. It's clearly a commercial rental and the only acceptable reason for its high price was the cooking/cleaning/maid service. Our friends rented a much nicer Villa 5 minutes walking distance for $280 per night for a three bedroom and as a comparison made Ricardo absolutely not worth the price. I felt I was bait and switched by Blue Isle and will not be recommending this to anyone.
