“We recently stayed at Mahogany Bay - Seashells and had a mixed experience. First and foremost, Isle Blue was fantastic to deal with—very professional, responsive, and made the booking process seamless. The property itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and in a great location, but the proximity to the road was a major downside. The traffic noise was very loud, which took away from the otherwise peaceful beachfront setting. To make matters worse, there was a very noisy cockerel across the road that crowed non-stop, day and night. If you're a light sleeper, this could be a real issue. Unfortunately, the housekeeping service was disappointing. Upon arrival on Thursday evening, we expected daily service, but the housekeeper didn’t follow through as anticipated. She showed up on Friday but only to introduce herself—doing no actual cleaning. On Saturday, she arrived while we were still having breakfast but made no effort to assist and simply watched as we tidied up. Sunday was her scheduled day off, but on Monday, when I said, “See you tomorrow,” she told me that most guests only want housekeeping every other day. I had to remind her that our booking clearly stated daily service, and only then did she start coming every day. Even then, her effort was minimal. Overall, the property itself was lovely, and Isle Blue provided great service, but the traffic noise and lacklustre housekeeping were definite drawbacks. If the housekeeping service were improved, it would have made for a much more enjoyable stay.”
