“The location is a 15-minute drive from the airport on a quiet, private road in Taylor Bay on a pristine cove. The villa is secluded, nestled on a large beachfront lot with a gated driveway entrance. The villa has 8 beach lounge chairs for the exclusive use of its guests in front of the property; some people on the island have discovered this gem of a location and use the path from the lane to visit this small intimate beach area. It is a family-oriented beach, the sand is smooth and white, and the water is shallow and goes out over 100 yards before reaching your waist level. The house is well appointed and well designed, the 3 bedroom en-suites in the main house are all private with water views and separated from the common areas with no noise issues if others are watching TV in the main living areas. The 4th bedroom suite with a separate living room and kitchenette is above the detached garage. The outdoor space is perfect for dining and lounging. The pool is small, not usable for doing laps and there is no hot tub, unfortunately. The villa has a volleyball court, kayak, paddle boards and sports equipment. There are two tennis courts 100 feet from the property for use by the association, perfect for tennis players who wish to play at any time of the day and right next door, but screened off by trees and shrubs. The house has no desks or workstations, the house manager will look into adding some after I mentioned that people are now working remotely from everywhere they travel to and use work devices with them even on holiday. The kitchen is on the smaller side for a house of this caliber and size, but adequate to cook and prepare meals for a group of 12. The kitchenware and equipment are adequate but could use some upgrades or replacements. All in all the villa is a good value for the amenities, the beachfront location, the quality of the furnishings and the construction. However, a 3-4 hour daily cleaning should be included in the rental, not charged separately given the size of the house and the luxury level that Isle Blue presents. Who wants to go on a luxury vacation at this price point to make beds, take out the trash, wash the towels, clean up the kitchen and freshen up the bathrooms?! We were a group of 10 staying at the house, 4 young adults in their 20's and 6 adults who are 50+ for a week in January 2023. We enjoyed the villa and property for the full week and didn't have any desire to venture out except for one dinner near a marina on our last evening. The Beach House villa was a paradise and met my discerning requirements and standards!”
