“Probably my own fault in not looking at it first, but on the other hand I trusted Isle Blue to deliver "an exquisite villa" which unfortunately it wasn't. Mainly the furniture was so uncomfortable... I realise we are both incredibly old and therefore sit down more than guests with young families, but there was nowhere comfortable to sit and read in the evenings, and the television room was simply horrible. The chairs were the sort you would find in a dentist's waiting room, and it only had a very noisy fan to keep cool. Sadly the only other television in the master bedroom only showed local channels. In the kitchen there were no markings on any of the dials on the cooker, and no instruction manual to work out which dial turned the oven on. The chairs around the outdoor table were also ones you have to sit bolt upright in, again, probably fine for young children but not exactly conducive for leisurely lunches and suppers. Last year we were in Sugar Cane Ridge abd we had a lovely sitting room with air con and very comfortable chairs set well back from a big television. Unfortunately the stairs became a real problem for my husband so we oped for a bungalow. Far and away the best thing about the whole place is Vashti. What a gem that lady is!”
