“We enjoyed our stay, the house is a living museum to the 1960's. With this in mind we did find it was not always user friendly. The main reason for this statement was the beautiful lounge, with its 15ft high windows, amazing decoration, furniture and carpet. It was not mentioned, until we arrived, as part of our 'welcome tour' that the room was basically 'out of bounds,' unless you wanted to sit in it and read a book. We were told no food or drink could be consumed here, which we understood however, there was nothing written in the description of the house, on your company website, to this end. Therefor having such a beautiful room, which represented a good proportion of the house, as something to admire, but not really use, we found frustrating. Some evenings we just wanted to relax and watch TV. The only place you could do this was in your bedroom!! if I wanted to watch TV in my bedroom I would have stayed in a hotel! The patio and pool were perfect. With equal amounts of shade and sun with beautiful furniture. The rest of the house was as it was described apart from again the second bedroom. In your on-line website the pictures show the four poster bed. This has been replaced, as had the bed in the master bedroom, it did not fill the headboard as in the picture. If you are going to market a property, either have up-to-date pictures or put a note about the differences. It is disappointing to only find these things out when you arrive. My advice, be more open in the description of the house, especially in relation to the lounge. The location just a short walk from Palm Canyon was ideal for us. According to the details we were given, Garden Maintenance was due on a Friday. However, at 12.05 pm Thursday the Gardner arrived! We had friends joining us for lunch at 12.30pm. As his English was poor, we could not explain it was not convenient. Therefore we had to let him do his work, which lasted until 13.15pm, mowing grass, blowing leaves etc., Once finished we were able to contact our guests and tell them they could now come. These instances small as they are all added to the overall disappointment in some respect.”
