DescriptionA gourmet rice flour mix for making fluffy, gluten-free pancakes.Made from 100% premium Kinmemai rice flour, Toyo Rice pancake mix requires just eggs and milk to instantly whip up fluffy, gluten-free, Japanese-style pancakes. Carefully milled to preserve their nutritious germ layer and creamier taste, the buttery, nutty qualities of Kinmemai white rice in this mix makes for a perfect pancake batter, combined with corn starch and a sprinkle of sugar, salt and baking powder to create that all important soft, thick texture. Each 150g bag creates approx. 2-3 pancakes.PreparationTo create 2-3 pancakes with this gourmet rice flour mix:- Add 1 medium egg and approx. 120ml milk or water to a bowl, before adding the pancake mix. Whisk all the ingredients together thoroughly until they form a smooth batter.- Place a frying pan over medium heat, then spread a light layer of oil over its surface for frying (To reduce the risk of pancakes burning, place a wet cloth to the side and use it to briefly cool your pan before frying each pancake).- Reduce your pan to a low heat and using a ladle, carefully pour your batter into the centre of the pan until it spreads to the ideal size.
