Truly Delicious! Can never go wrong with some Ippeichan Yakisoba. A lighter version than the normal darker flavour

These are scrummy. To my mind they are nicer than regular instant noodles. The name sounds like they should be really salty, but they're not. The flavour is more like sprinkling plain noodles with soy sauce. It then gets topped with ***, which I thought was going to be odd, but is actually really tasty. My one gripe is that the instructions on the packet don't have an English translation, so I had to come back to the Japan Centre website the 1st time to look up how to prepare them. This is why I've dropped a star. However once you know how to do it the preparation is simplicity itself - basically you peel the cover back at one corner (it's marked where) and take out all of the sachets. You then add boiling water and let it stand for a few minutes. Once it's done you peel the opposite corner open (also marked) to reveal a strainer built into the packaging, so you can drain off the excess water. Once it's drained you top with the sauce, *** and garnish, and devour. These are my new go- to on hospital night shifts for "lunch". I'm so glad I discovered them.

Very tasty noodles with a nice, sweet garlic hit. I think I can make them at home now having tried them. Would recommend.
