“The Shiki Niseko facilities are of a high standard. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location of Shiki is very central to the village but that itself was the main problem with my stay. Almost every night there was loud music coming from nearby clubs / bars. The music and noise of people in the street was loud enough to cause significantly disturbed sleep. The noise typically continued until 02:00 - 02:30hrs and on a couple occasions continued until 04:30hrs. The disruption was sufficient that I will probably stay elsewhere in future and may reduce my stay at Niseko in future.”

Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased to hear that you found the facilities to be of a high standard and the staff friendly and helpful. Perhaps for your next stay in Niseko we could recommend a property located outside of central Hirafu where you can enjoy a very peaceful stay.

“Was ok. Apartments not overly big and one of the bedrooms had no windows and was really hot even with the heating turned off so one of us slept on the sofa and 3 in the other bedroom”

Thank you, we will pass this feedback on to Shiki Niseko. Since the rooms have independently controlled heating which you were able to turn off, perhaps there was an issue with this particular apartment during your stay which caused it to be too hot.

“well organised hotel with great drying room & ski valet. The bus to the gondola is a real plus, but it could go more frequently to cope with the numbers at peak times. Kamimura is exceptional.”
