“The accommodation itself is excellent but the location is a little tricky to access the ski lifts. There isn't a shuttle bus that covers the small area of eastern Hirafu (aside from one at the bottom of the road that runs every 30-50 minutes - and is usually very busy) and the secondary company that manages the property don't run their shuttle there either . The property managers did usually provide one for us when we asked - but these need to be booked well in advance. The alternative - a walk down then up the hill in all your gear - is very sweaty! Something to bear in mind. Apart from that, accommodation was very comfortable and perfect size for group of 10. Takes about 10-15 minutes to walk into central/lower/upper hirafu for restaurants.”
