Amazing stay, room was perfect, staff were super helpful, the daily shuttle to/from banzai chair was super helpful and the location in a quieter area but still walkable to the busline made getting to hirafu and iroha/annupuri really easy too, would definitely stay here again no doubt!

Snow Dog Village is an excellent place to stay - the staff is very helpful and work hard. We enjoyed our time there and would stay again. You must know the logistics and your way around - Be planned out before you go so you can maximize your stay. Aloha to the staff there - thanks again for the great time.

These are simply recommendations for an improved experience and better customer service based on not having direct access to the town, lifts and ski slopes (i.e. ski in/out). Create a Snowdog Village chat group (i.e. WhatsApp or Telegram) utilizing mobile phone numbers that is optional for guests to join at arrival to receive updates from the staff on anything that impacts normal operations (Niseko Resort and Snowdog Village). - Administration is governed by Snowdog Village staff and guests are free to opt in and out as necessary. Exterior ski/snowboard racks for either the side or back of the Snowdog shuttle. - This shuttle was not designed to accommodate this type of equipment within the interior and some longer skis barely fit. Eliminate both the midday (11:16-12:16) and evening (19:16-20:16) lack of Snowdog shuttle service. - When this shuttle service is the only means to get to/from the nearest resort lift and/or village center then having two 2-hour gaps really limits the guests ability to move around the resort area, accommodations and restaurants. Understand driver limitations must be considered but there may be alternate solutions to the meal/break requirements. Place small sitting benches in front of each unit entrance in the interior hallways to allow removal of ski/snowboard boots before entering the unit. - Trying to help keep the snow/water out of the living unit when putting on or taking off all boots. Place the menus and normal opening times/days of the local restaurants that are within walking distance in each of the Snowdog Village units. - To include Milk Kobo, Prativo, Mexican Mule, Black Diamond Lodge, Karabina and Lunch Cafe in the shipping container. Establish and maintain walking/skiing paths regardless of season from Snowdog Village to the main road leading to the Hilton Niseko, path to the Black Diamond Lodge and ski/snowboard path to the base of the Banzai lift area. - The Banzai lift area ski/snowboard access would minimize the requirement to solely rely on the Snowdog shuttle to get back to accommodations. I am providing these recommendations from experience of traveling and staying at resorts much like Snowdog Village all over the world and growing up at a ski resort myself. Special thanks to Kathrine (Kat) for the very warm welcome upon our arrival on the 23rd and for going the extra mile to take us to the rental shop before the Snowdog Village during her busy shift so we could ski immediately the next morning. We so much appreciated her extra effort! Kind regards, Jeff Hutchinson

Loved the quiet location and our apartment was so lovely, beautiful views into the snowy trees. The restaurant was a real surprise. Beautiful Japanese food, menu always changing and friendly staff. The chef is very clever! We are there every second night - perfect after a big day not to have to to Hirafu. The Container cafe on site a real gem too. Finally the shuttle bus was essential and excellent- always on time and chatty drivers. We would stay here again for sure. Thanks.
