Thanks, Paula, for the feedback. I understand that the hat is too big for you and you dislike the material being too thick, right? Generally, I receive very good feedback for this hat. We use the best 100% jersey cotton material we could possibly find for this product. As it is 100% cotton, so it won't be too hot in the summertime but I guess QLD is different. As a matter of fact, quite a few customers from QLD have purchased this hat, and they are quite happy about it. It is so moisture wicking, and a loose fit will allow you to wear the hat without "a headache" the whole day long. How loose is the hat on you? As for sizing issue, although this hat allows you to stretch for about 2cm, there is a limit in accommodating everybody's circumference. It is very important to measure your head size before you place your order. By default, a “one size fits most” sized hat will be sent out for you. If your head size doesn’t fall within the recommended head size range for this hat, we are happy to modify the hat for you if possible. Please send your enquiry to Support@JasFashion.com.au By the way, we DO have XXS/XS small sized hat in this line, but you MUST send your special request through otherwise we assume you have ordered the default hat size. Do you know your exact head size? How small is your head? We have a similar style, and it is made of thinner linen cotton material, so it won't be too "heavy" for summer. It is size adjustable.
