“Well made. Having the grease zerks for the bushings on top of the control arms makes for easy greasing.
I had a set of of KPS control arms that these replaced and the grease zerks were on the bottom of the control arms.
I also like that the ball joints are bolted on instead of pressed in. It will make replacing the ball joints much easier when they need to be replaced.”
“I purchased these for my wife's 2013 F150 FX4 with a 3.5 inch lift. My order process was easy, the communication during the shipment was nice. As for the control arms themselves I am very happy they are well built the finish is very nice. After installation the zero fittings took grease and didn't pull out. ( That's an if you know you know) Overall I am very pleased with quality of the JBA upper control arms.”
“Although I have not installed them yet, these arms look to have very nice quality of build, materials and aesthetic. They are beefy and the ball joints are smooth. Packaging was well done. No blems at all. I chose these uca’s because I put bilstein 6112 which I set at 2” and wanted to restore caster and be nowhere near max ball joint angle at full droop. From all my research these should get the job done. Can’t wait to put em on!”
“The truck is an 18 f150 diesel. Running bilstein 6112s and a 1" spacer since the 6112 coils are for gas engined trucks, I lost .5" of lift. Jbas upper control arms have enough geometry to unwind the spring. The stock control arm was sucking the spring up. They are built extremely well and I am very impressed. I actually came put with 1" of lift over the stock arms. It can only be that the stock arms was preloading the strut.
The cost is tough to swallow. I think $600 is on the high end. I'd feel more comfortable at $400 price point. But have no regrets.”
