“I had ordered two Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake packs (1 vanilla & 1 chocolate) and one box of Twennybars (chocolate). One week later they arrived and i was very curious how they would taste. I started with one of the Twennybars and the taste was OK. They tast like the powder only in a smaller form. The next morning i tried the vanilla shake. I must say i was very pleased. The taste is very very good and my stomach feels full. My body needed to adapt to the shakes. During the first shake i could feel the powder in my throat. After a couple of times drinking the shake that feeling was gone. The chocolate flavor was also really nice.
In short: Shakes are very good but need some getting used to. Twennybars good but not as good as the shakes.
I’m definitely ordering the shakes again, probably more and want to try the other tastes.”

“The twennybar white was not a smooth taste. But it realy fils me up, and thats why i eat this twennybars.
But i can say, de Brown (chocolate) is was and good taste and a great filler.
And when the apocolips coms, and you got a box of twennybars, and some water, you can last for a year.

“Preface: I can only speak to my personal experience with the bars; and can still warmly recommend the drink.
I've used the Twenny bars for quite a while now, to give them a chance. They are absolutely fine at consumption, not particularly tasty but adequate. Flavourless but good to save time. For me the after effects have reached unacceptable levels.
I have no known health issues. There is a level of flatulence that you get from the bar that goes beyond the pale. Perhaps I have a healthy diet, and eating these just adds too much fibre - I can't say. Yet I have been woken in the night by the after effects, on more than one occasion now and generally had bloating / trapped wind. So I am afraid I have to draw my use of Twenny to a close, and have disposed of half a box. It's now been over 24 hours since I last consumed one and most symptoms have cleared or diminished hugely.
Sorry Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake... want to see you do awesome things but I can't stand behind the Twenny bars. I love their convenience, but perhaps something in the 'prepared drinks' family might give an alternative that provides the same level of convenience.
As a general note: For me personally I've found that using Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake in addition to a healthy(ish) diet has been a mistake for me and they really should 'replace' meals and not supplement.”
“This review is for the Twenny bars, specifically the chocolate flavour. I wasn't sure what to expect, as many "chocolate" protein or meal bars have a disappointing taste, but this was actually very pleasant and reminded me of chocolate oatmeal balls, except less sweet. The consistency is good, and I LOVE the fact that they are not covered in chocolate, so they don't melt or get sticky, and the bar itself is bulky and firm enough to not get smushed in my bag. I adore them!”
