“There's really nothing I could complain about Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake. Just the perfect product for university students during exams periods, and in general for all those situations in which cooking and cleaning dishes is a pain in the ass. I've never experienced issues with my deliveries. The powders are tasty and generally satifying (once you've figured out what's the right amount for you). Twennybars are just AWESOME. I'm recommanding Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake to everyone I know. Sadly there's still some suspicion among people, especially here in Italy.”
“The product it's good, but it takes too long to arrive, if you're starting your diet based on Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake you should ask for the meal for 3 months, and at the second month order for other more months if not you will have to start eating normally between the end of your meals and the arriving of the new ones.”
“Got my first batch of Twenny bars and pretty good. Chewy and very satiating. Like the banana more than the chocolate. Wish they were as cheap as Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake, though.”
“Both flavors taste good, better than the regular Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake counterpart. However, looking at the nutritional label they are not as good as Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake, way more saturated fats and sugars. The healthy part in "healthy, fast, cheap & tasty" is a bit misleading, in my opinion.
If you're thinking about completely replacing Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake with Twenny bars think again. If you just want something to eat on the go once in a while this is a pretty good option.”
“It is "easy to eat" fast and doesn't leave you with this eternal fealing of guilt, that you get after eating some junk. And just one word about the best invention since the discovery of food: "twennybar".
And as they say 10/10 would recommend to most people :-)
P.S.
I also tried another type of powedered food and Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake excells in taste, price and prettyness”
“I've been eating nothing but the banana bars for a few days now to see how they hold up, and I'm pretty happy with it. I give it 4 stars because it's close to and in some ways beats the well known American competitor 2.0, the one exception for me being that Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake doesn't seem to be as eco-friendly with their formula, and generally they don't claim to be hell-bent on sustainability like Rosa Labs does. But Twennybars are good for being one of the first solid forms on the market.
Taste: I think it tastes very similar to the banana muffins my mom used to make. The taste is mild, and not too sweet. I wouldn't call it bland though, like some do. It seems to have a stronger taste than the well known American competitor 2.0, but not by much. When it comes to the taste itself, it definitely beats 2.0 most of the time (I've had a really inconsistent experience with 2.0). After eating nothing but these bars for a few days, I feel like I've gotten used to the taste and I don't get tired of it, surprisingly. When I've been hungry they've always been appetizing enough that I tend to eat until I'm comfortably full. The few times I've felt less than happy to eat one, I've also been thirsty, and just a drink of water is appetizing.
Texture and form: gives the jaws a moderate workout, but nothing extreme. It's chewy and crunchy, in a pleasant way.
Digestion: I run a 10k twice a week, so I've done one Twennybar-powered run up to now, and I haven't had any problems there. Overall, I think the digestability of these bars is much closer to the well known American competitor 2.0 than the well known American competitor 1.5 (I've used both heavily before), which is a very good thing. It doesn't knock you out or make you feel funny. I have had a moderate amount of gas sometimes, but it's probably less than chili would give you. Poops are A-okay.
Convenience: awesome. It's what you would expect: open the shipping box, open a 25-pack, unwrap bar, consume.”
“My experience so far is of a company with very friendly interface to its customers. The shipping delays for the twennybars are significant yet understanable at this early stage, but a related warning in the order confirmation wouldn't hurt.”
“I've gotten into the Twenny-bar and almost forgotten about regular Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake and having a few bags and a spare shaker in the car.
The banana is a bit more creamier and tastier as the chocolate. Which in turn tastes a bit like brownies with only a hint of sugar. They are kind of hefty to eat, let alone 5 in a day, but I did grow used to eating a few a day, as I only substitute breakfast and lunch. My girlfriend didn't dislike them as much as Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake (which she refers to as "ground rock").
They are both neutral enough and have a nice texture. Very recommended for an active lifestyle or if you really want to spread out your Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake meals.”
