They taste really great. I like the chocolate more then the banana. But both are really good. It's perfect to eat them on the way and at work. I already placed my second order :D

I bought a 5-pack of each flavour to test, as I wanted to have an idea of what they were like. They are very convenient, as I'm sure many can imagine, as they can easily be eaten on the go. However, contrary to other reviews posted so far, I have to say I found them a little disappointing, as did my girlfriend. She found them far too chewy, to the extent that it caused jaw pain, and she didn't like the taste of either (with banana actually making her feel nauseous). She preferred chocolate, but found even that had an unpleasant aftertaste. I had a slightly more positive experience, in that I could easily tolerate the chewiness, and didn't experience an aftertaste. However the word that first comes to mind when I think of the bars is bland. The taste is extremely mild, far moreso than with the shakes, and while you do get a hint of the same form of banana flavour as used in the shake, it is very weak and at points completely unnoticeable. The chocolate is better - it tastes a lot more like real chocolate than the chocolate flavoured shake, perhaps more akin to uncooked, sweetened cocoa powder, but again, this taste is quite weak and underwhelming. Overall, if you're looking for a product that's as nutritious as the well known American competitor with added convenience, these may well be for you, but if you're wanting something with a great taste, they aren't the best.

The taste is great, it is not so sweet, the texture is nice, and of course much more practical than the shakes :) So far I have tried the banana one, I will try in the future also the chocolate variant.

These bars are amazing and I can finally feel like a normal person while on Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake. It's nice to have something to bite into; drinking your food can feel a bit dull and artificial after a while. They are chunky, tasty and super convenient, well worth paying a premium for. I just wish you would make them in strawberry instead of banana.

I placed an order on launch day for Twenny Bars but after contacting you was told that they aren't actually ready to ship yet. I'm happy to wait but it seems disingenuous to release when they aren't ready and be given no information on how long I'd need to wait.

The bars are crispy and not too dry. All I want is more flavors - I can't stand banana, so for now I'm stuck on chocolate. Overall happy customer

Short summary: It's kind of like a flapjack (the oat bar), but not as sweet/fatty as the ones I've had in the past. Pretty good, and definitely would prefer these over the shakes. Longer version: Texture: Is pretty good! If you're familiar with flapjacks you'll recognize the densely packed oats (they are surprisingly heavy, btw!) mixed with some oils and sugars, but not as much as regulars flapjacks. In that sense they are a bit dry as well, so I would recommend eating them with some water at the side! They added a small crispy element (I think soy protein crisp is the ingredient iirc) which is a nice, but small, additional component. Taste: As you might expect, this has less taste than your regular flapjack, and definitely less sugar and fat as well. In that sense it still reminds you of the original Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake, as both of the flavours are quite bland. The banana variety might even have less taste than the shake! I alwyas liked the banana shake best, but here I prefer chocolate simply because it has more taste at all. Satiation: Definitely wanted to mention this, as I think they are really quite more 'filling' than the shakes. I happen to always use 100 grams of Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake as my breakfast, which is exactly what these bars weigh. I'm now typing this right after I ate one portion (two halves to be able to do a proper review ;)) but I definilty feel more that I 'have something in my stomach' than with the shakes! Portability etc: The bars are a little over 100 grams, and a bit bigger than mars/snickers bars. Of course for commuting and such the bars are very convenient, but I also wanted to say that the bars definitely feel less weird to consume in the train than the shakes. The shakes always had a bit of a bulky odd look, while the bars are something people are famliiar with. Price: These bars cost 2 euros each, which on a daily basis (5 bars) is twice as expensive than the shakes (if you buy bulk). This is definitely a significant difference, and will likely result in me using these as a commuting breakfast only. On the other hand, for me Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake has been mainly about convenience, and the bars are definitely easier!

I bought a pack each of chocolate, banana and vanilla... Not particularly keen on the chocolate as I foolishly expected it to taste like a candy bar, but the vanilla is really, really lovely!
