The taste may not be great, but it's not bad either and mixing two flavours can keep it fresh. Being able to 'cook' in 2 minutes and do the dishes in 2 minutes is totally worth it for me!

I stress a lot about cooking, what to cook, how to eat a varied diet, and how much I spend on food each month. I've been a vegetarian for 12 years and preparing simple vegetarian food when you don't like cooking is tough and often expensive. My aversion to cooking also means I often don't prepare lunches and spend a fair amount of money on takeaway/restaurant food each month. This has been great for me, as I know I don't have to worry, that it'll be quick, contain what I need, and that it'll probably be cheaper than whatever I would have ended up eating. It's not the most exciting food an terms of taste, but I don't mind, and both strawberry and mango are tasty yet subtle enough for me to eat every day without getting sick of it. I've tried eating 1 a day for a month and has now gone to 2 on most days. If I planned carefully, and spend a few hours on it I could probably make meals that are cheaper than the Plenny Shake that still are healthy, but that is not something I see myself devoting time and effort to. As it is, it has worked great and it makes the times that I do cook more memorable. It feels almost too good to be true that I have found an option that is cheaper, healthier and quicker than my previous diet that is still vegetarian but here we are. This is truly a life changer for me

I've only tried the banana and chocolate versions so far, but both products are quite filling (I actually feel quite full with only just 100g of the product). Taste wise, the banana is quite artificial (which some might like!) and strong, but the chocolate is very mild. Coming from consuming Soylent, the texture of this product is what puts me off the most. I'm used to drinking smooth shakes. Due to I'm guessing the oatmeal in the formula, Jimmy Joy shakes are often gritty. It also separates quite easily, which you have to shake to mix it back up together again (this is fine with me, honestly). It really doesn't matter what I do though, putting it in the fridge or leaving it out in room temperature, the texture is always gritty. Overall, it's a good product for the price. Shipping is very fast, considering it is coming overseas (to the US). If they can just change the texture of the shake, then I would definitely repurchase.

At first, I was a bit skeptical about this product, but now I can definitely recommend to anyone who wants a quick and nutritious meal.
