“Decided to try this once the well known American competitor went on backorder. I've only tried the banana so far, but it was good. I'll be ordering again!”
“Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake has been a fantastic replacement to my crappy take out meals when I feel too lazy to cook. All of the flavors are compelling and taste like the real thing instead of artificial. The texture is smooth with just a hint of oat grit which I don't mind at all. The price is completely fair, especially compared to what I used to eat in Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake's place.
If you're looking for meal/food replacement with tastes that you won't get sick of, and with complete and balanced nutrition, look no further than Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake.”
“Shipping was quick, and packaging was sturdy and unobtrusive. The site functions as it should, albeit with the currently popular layout that favors low information density. Not a fan of either that or the artwork.
The powder comes in sturdy, resealable plastic bags with a metallic lining. Great for storage, useless for pouring or measuring from. The included measuring spoon has a volume indicator, but the portions are measured in weight. I used a kitchen scale and poured straight from the bag, which worked fine.
The shakes themselves are inoffensive in taste. The taste and texture are reminiscent of bland, watery oatmeal. The flavoring is a valuable touch: I prefer the chocalate, but the banana and vanilla were also okay. The strawberry I found the least palatable. I also tried the vegan variant of the banana, which I liked less than the regular kind. The shakes left me satiated without feeling bloated. I'd recommend them as a way of getting your strength back up after an illness, or to substitute an occasional meal when you're in a rush. For regular consumption, I expect you'd find the blandness to eventually become repulsive.”
“The taste is pretty okay (I wouldn't say it's tasty, but it's not gross), and it's very easy to chug down! Also, the delivery is very fast.”
“What happened to the flavours of the shakes? Strawberry seem to lose its taste, whereas banana has lots of unwanted tiny wheat pieces, and chocolate is extremely flavoured. What did you do to the original formula?”
“Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake got my order wrong at first, but made it right, which I appreciate.
It's a great product, better than the well known American competitor, but the request is to review only the site experience.
There was no apology for the mix-up, and I had to send many emails (as well as, weirdly, pictures of the inside of the box) to get it fixed, so ultimately the experience was below average. Two stars is a D--a passing grade, but a poor one.”
“I've used the Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake banana for one week to replace my lunch. And I liked it very much. The taste was very good and I did not feel hungry at all during the afternoon.”
