“A friend of mine were talking about the stuff that's nice to eat after a long night of going out. You know when you're basically starving but you stomach feels too fuzzy and your mouth is too dry to even begin to think about what you're gonna eat. He brought up Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake and tipped me on getting some for the morning of coming home and finding myself in the above situation.
I tried it and I have to say it is the most amazing thing foodwise that has ever entered my life. Doesn't matter how long the party went on, I can always down a Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake shake. It tastes freaking incredible. So good that I've substituted my breakfast for a Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake shake. It saves me enough time to be able to meditate every morning. It also never feels like too much on my sleepy morning stomach, but gives me enough energy to do whatever I want until lunch.
I can't wait to bring a few kilo's of Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake with me too festivals this summer, I'll have so much extra energy for partying.
I'm gonna buy more now, bye.”
“Decided to try this once the well known American competitor went on backorder. I've only tried the banana so far, but it was good. I'll be ordering again!”
“Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake has been a fantastic replacement to my crappy take out meals when I feel too lazy to cook. All of the flavors are compelling and taste like the real thing instead of artificial. The texture is smooth with just a hint of oat grit which I don't mind at all. The price is completely fair, especially compared to what I used to eat in Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake's place.
If you're looking for meal/food replacement with tastes that you won't get sick of, and with complete and balanced nutrition, look no further than Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake.”
“Shipping was quick, and packaging was sturdy and unobtrusive. The site functions as it should, albeit with the currently popular layout that favors low information density. Not a fan of either that or the artwork.
The powder comes in sturdy, resealable plastic bags with a metallic lining. Great for storage, useless for pouring or measuring from. The included measuring spoon has a volume indicator, but the portions are measured in weight. I used a kitchen scale and poured straight from the bag, which worked fine.
The shakes themselves are inoffensive in taste. The taste and texture are reminiscent of bland, watery oatmeal. The flavoring is a valuable touch: I prefer the chocalate, but the banana and vanilla were also okay. The strawberry I found the least palatable. I also tried the vegan variant of the banana, which I liked less than the regular kind. The shakes left me satiated without feeling bloated. I'd recommend them as a way of getting your strength back up after an illness, or to substitute an occasional meal when you're in a rush. For regular consumption, I expect you'd find the blandness to eventually become repulsive.”
