“First-time subscriber. Texture: like drinking gritty, powdery, wet pancake batter when shaken (would probably make great pancakes). I add 400 ml of water to water it down. If texture is a problem, add it to a smoothie or blend it. Smell: really pleasant and strong. Taste: bland, but has a surprisingly strong lemon note. I add a teaspoon of sugar and pinch of salt to help with the blandness. I think people who enjoy lemon pie would find the taste acceptable.”
“Well I think I use it in a different way from others, I put chia seeds in the water the day before, then in the morning I do my shake, it's a little bit more thick, and I really love the flavour”
“Having tried an alternate to my usual brand I was looking forward to an improved experience.
Firstly, Plenny lived up to the expectation of a much smoother shake. There were no lumps and the texture was creamy with no unusual aftertaste.
I could taste the pie in the flavour too, lemon curd with hints of vanilla.
My only drop of a star was down to the amount of flavouring, as I found it to be a little light on the taste, so the underlying maltiness of the shake could be discerned.
All in all, a lovely creamy shake that was easy to make, but I would have preferred dialling up the flavor profile a little.”
“Really mild lemon flavor, which is perfect. The underlying flavor is similar to the way pancake batter smells (which I like), and the lemon is a perfect amount to keep it interested. Much more palatable than other meal replacements that tend to be very dense and sweet.”
