“I'm so used to the same old artificial strawberry flavor that I dislike but, this strawberry flavor was a pleasant surprise. Just real strawberries thrown in the mix for a nice natural berry flavor. Love it!”
“Flavors are quite good, my favorites being banana and strawberry. Did not care for chocolate or vanilla when I tried those though. The fruit versions remind me of those instant oatmeal packets as far as flavor goes. Texture is great, nice and smooth, and it mixes easily (far fewer clumps than the competition). As someone who used the competitor's powder for many years, 2.1 is good enough to make me switch. I'm also a big fan of the macro nutrient composition.
The only minor issues I have are that drinking a lot quickly can cause some heartburn, and it separates quite a bit in the fridge. The packaging also can be messy if you make the whole bag at once in a pitcher, though it's perfect for single meal scooping. These are minor complaints though, and I'll be drinking this daily for the foreseeable future.”
“Had to wait nearly a month for my package, with no warning of delay on the site. I had moved by the time it was delivered, and was never able to pick it up. Soylent and Huel both advertised delays in shipping and I was able to plan accordingly.”
“This was my first time trying Jimmy Joy, and I ordered chocolate flavor. Not only does it taste nothing like chocolate, it's barely palatable. I'll never be ordering again, despite the supposed praise I've read about it. I'm sure it's great nutrition wise but there's no getting past that awful taste. Try Vega shakes or literally anything else.”
“It's very tasty, exceptionally convenient, and easy to store. What I love most is that it is nutritionally complete. Further, it stores up to at least a year. In light, of the Wuhan virus, it's perfect for just such an emergency. I consume it for breakfast and lunch. The product is shipped with care and perfect timeliness.”
“I liked both the flavors I got (vanilla and banana). After trying it the first few times I began to get cravings for the shakes (which I thought was a bit odd since they're basically powdered oatmeal) The shakes were mild and plain enough that I didn't get tired of them after drinking them often. I also tried mixing other flavors into them, like chocolate or creamer, and it worked well. One thing I didn't like about the shakes was that they were kinda grainy. No matter how much I shook them, they always seemed to have a bit of a grainy texture. I did get used to it, but I would still prefer a smoother texture.”
