Overall, I found the product's quality acceptable. However, given the price and the brand's reputation, higher expectations were held. Many of the issues I encountered were tied to design flaws and subpar raw materials. For instance, as evident in the photos, despite not having the product for a long period, the bottom section of the bag, crucial for durability, exhibited minor corrosion and tearing. Personally, I've been meticulous in handling the backpack, rarely placing it on abrasive surfaces prone to damage. Yet, these issues arose, indicating a compromise between aesthetics and practicality in the bag's design and material selection. A backpack of this calibre, typically intended for daily use, should offer greater resilience and functionality.
Furthermore, the stitching quality on the lower sections of the bag is notably poor, with visible seams suggesting an imminent separation. The material's texture around the bottom zipper exacerbates the problem, rendering restitching unfeasible and significantly shortening the product's lifespan.
My additional disappointment lies in the arrangement of storage compartments. For instance, access to the middle pocket and bag interior is inconveniently positioned on the bag's right side, opposite the left-side opening of the lower compartment. This layout necessitates cumbersome manoeuvring to retrieve items stored in separate locations. Similarly, while the side zipper provides an innovative means to access the bag's interior, practical usage reveals shortcomings. Accessing solely the laptop, for instance, becomes cumbersome as it necessitates unzipping the top and potentially moving away other items placed inside. This disparity between design ingenuity and functional efficacy is disheartening, underscoring the prioritisation of style over utility.
In summary, the product's allure and aesthetics have overshadowed considerations of durability and practicality, resulting in a disappointing user experience for me personally.”
