“Everything about the Magnolia stem is very realistic, including the stem itself. I live in Fort Worth, TX & I see lots of Magnolia trees, so I know how the blooms & leaves look up close. The only thing missing is the intense intoxicating scent of the flowers from the hot Texas heat that permeates all through my neighborhood! I created a sort of horizontal swag with 4 stems, but I need maybe 4 to 6 more to complete it. I wanted a stunning showstopper for the top of my 72 inch tall armoire in the living room. Anything resembling my newly designed creation online is ridiculously expensive, so I thought I'd try to create my own for WAY less cost using the Magnolia stems from House Floral.....& I think I was right! Please see my photo of my "unfinished" horizontal Magnolia swag:) I need a few more intertwined into it with some partially opened & some barely opened to complete the look I want. I wound the long stems around each other & secured them with some long double wired twist ties u til I can get some floral tape or something. In my opinion.....so far, so good. Only one comment about the size of the fully opened blooms on this stem is that I wish there was a larger choice of the blooms to mix I to the existing ones I have to look even more realistic. Some of the blooms I've seen up close that are fully opened are the size of a cereal bowl! Quite large! But, the ones I have & the next ones I'm ordering soon, will be sufficient for my project for sure. They are absolutely gorgeous stems!!! This project is part of my living room remodel I've been working on & the Magnolia blooms & leaves match my paint colors & design perfectly.”
