“These boots fitted an identikit I'd been looking for to help complete that 'I've not really bothered today' look, which, ironically, requires a lot of thought. They're Loakes so you can expect the construction to be good and there's no disappointment there. A bit of 'breaking in' is needed and I've used R M Williams Saddle and Leather Dressing on the boots to help this ... a 250 ml tin of this lasts forever and is good value on matt finishes.”
