“These covers are well made and waterproof, however if exposed to direct sunlight both the 600D cover material and the securing straps will be significantly weakened by 2 years and fail at 3 years and by fail I mean tear and straps snapping removing and reinstalling the cover. If not exposed to direct sunlight then probably around >5 years the straps and more importantly their retainer loops (same material as the straps) will likely start failing. I have 2 of these and will buy a third one soon as the first one is tearing and the straps are braking. I have never had them on when towing the boats and they are simply used as dust covers in the carport. The bow area is exposed to afternoon sunlight which is where it has failed. Still for the price they represent good value for money, shame they don't last longer and end up adding to land fill.”
