“Very satisfied with my purchase. What i like the most about the outback shower is it heats up really quick! It fits perfectly inside my RAV4. I paired it my a 5 gallon jerry can with a large spout opening so I can just drop the pump. Great product.”
“Outstanding shower. Light weight. Easy to use. Provides warm water and sufficient water pressure. Highly recommend for all your outdoor camping and overland needs.”
“I, and my entire family, absolutely love this outback shower. So convenient, it is compact and extremely easy to operate. Provides hot water on demand and where you need it. It is so portable I can now move my shower where ever we want. I am not restricted to a mounted water heater, nor do I need to stay near my propane tank, literally anywhere I want to take it. I also use it to provide hot water for dishes, a simple foot rinse area, or to spray down the bikes or gear before packing up. This is the best purchase I had made in terms of camp comfort. My wife wanted hot water, I didn’t think it was needed and have seen other water heaters and thought it would be too much a hassle to setup and use, but then I saw a video about the outback shower and that changed everything. So easy and so fast, my 12 year old son sets it up and gets it going. I also purchased the soft case for it, which I like a lot as well. I had also purchased a 5 gallon storage container /bucket from Lowes. I can store extra tubes and and sink faucet and spare shower heads that I have. That 5 gallon buckets also doubles as a water container when using the shower outside my rigs plumbing.”
“This is more than a shower, it's an all-in-one dishwasher/shower/bike cleaner! After the Overland Expo, I had the chance to use it during a long weekend and it was amazing. Super easy to use and all I needed to bring was a 5-gallon wide-mouth jerry can. I showered, washed my hot feet after bike riding, and washed my dishes (no more boiling water...yay!)
Keep in mind that the water pump at the end of the hose is too big to fit in a standard surplus-style metal jerry can. So, avoid my initial mistake and get a plastic one from REI or even cheaper at Grainger. Or you can get a collapsible water container if you have access to a water supply where you camp. I like to be self-sufficient with a jerry can.”
“Haven't used it yet but it appears to be of excellent materials and construction. Received the shower not too long after ordering. Customer service emails were consistent and informative. Will update review once the shower has been used.”
“I love the functionality of the shower and how it works! Just tried it out camping for 4 nights at Bass Lake area. Love that the charge on the battery lasts quite a bit and the propane lasts long as well. What I didn’t like was that the water coming out was cooking at around 104 F and it was hot to the body. The water temp going in was around 60 or 70 and so it got pretty hot pretty fast and the temperature dial was all the way down as well. I do love this thing though but I wish the temperature could be controlled better and not get as hot. What I had to do was heat up the water in the bucket to around 92 and then shower with that water instead. But overall love the product!”
