“I deliberately chose not to write this review right away, but only after a few months of use — just to be sure there would be no disappointment, so to speak. This is my second Kapten & Son backpack, and I would still happily be using the first one if not for its size, which unfortunately couldn’t fit my new work laptop. So now the new computer has a new bag, and I have a new experience.
At first, the closure system puzzled me. I thought, “Well, here’s a case of function sacrificed for design.” But now, after several months of use, it hasn’t felt like a drawback or inconvenience for even a moment. Quite the opposite — the capacity is perfectly suited to my urban dad lifestyle: it fits my work essentials, spontaneously bought books, and even two large bags of chips for a movie night with the kids.
The internal zipper arrangement can occasionally get a bit tangled, but that’s minor. When carrying the bag on my right shoulder, I sometimes wish the drink pocket were also on the right side, but again, a small thing. After half a year of intensive everyday use, the bag still looks as if it just came off the store shelf.
In short, my appreciation for Kapten & Son’s work has not only held up, it has grown. Thank you!”
