“Kapten & Son have built this bag with practicality in mind, and it really works. I had been looking for a new backpack for commuting, as I'm constantly travelling to and from the office and live in a very rainy part of the country, so a waterproof bag was essential.
This backpack comfortably holds my laptop as well as my gym kit, which can be neatly separated using the divider in the main compartment. This prevents it from getting mixed up with the everyday items I need throughout the day.
There are plenty of pockets and zipped compartments for organising different items, but I particularly appreciate the hidden zipped pocket on the back. It's perfect for valuables that need to remain secure while still being easily accessible, such as my work keys and lanyard.
It's a little pricey, but in my opinion it's worth the investment. This is my second Kapten & Son bag. My first one still functions perfectly, but I wanted a backpack that better suited all of my needs as a commuter.
The only downside is that it can feel a little bulky and heavy when fully packed. However, when you're carrying a lot of items, that's the trade-off you have to accept. For me, it's well worth it for the excellent accessibility, organisation, and practicality.”
“Very good for traveling, hand luggage, lots of space and features functional compartments and a spacious, divided interior. Includes a laundry bag and a make-up bag that can be neatly secured in their designated spots.
Accommodates a laptop and tablet, cables, and clothing, and includes a dedicated bottle holder. It can be held by various handles and fits under the seat when packed.
It is waterproof and has back padding; unfortunately, it lacks a waist strap, though there is an additional chest strap.
Most importantly, there is a small pocket for a phone or wallet against the back—very convenient, as you don't have to take the bag off.”
